Brava Cedar Shake

Brava is a solid recycled-polyethylene composite, not a coated metal panel — it won't rust, rot, split, or grow moss the way real cedar shake does after a few Minnesota winters. The material stays flexible in sub-zero cold instead of turning brittle, which matters on a lake roof that goes through repeated freeze-thaw cycles from November through March. At half an inch to seven-eighths of an inch thick, it's also the thickest shake profile on the market, so the shadow lines hold up visually at a distance the way real hand-split shake does.
