Silver Loon Roofing is a residential roofing contractor based in Central Minnesota, along the Rum River. We serve 43 cities across four regions — Twin Cities metro (30 cities), central Minnesota (4 cities), north-central Minnesota and Lake Country (6 cities), and southern Minnesota (3 cities). Our focus is exclusively residential: houses, lake cabins, and seasonal properties. We do not take commercial or emergency tarping calls.
Silver Loon Roofing operates under a Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (MN DLI) Residential Building Contractor license, with Jimmy Davidson as the Qualifying Person. Minnesota requires licensed RBC contractors to participate in the Contractor Recovery Fund — a state-administered fund that provides recourse for homeowners in the event of contractor default.
Our field crews are independent subcontractors carrying their own Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Auto, and MN DLI licensing. We verify every active crew's certificates of insurance monthly before dispatch. An expired cert blocks a crew from working our jobs until coverage is confirmed current.

GAF Master Elite certification for shingle installs — targeted for the first full season of operation. Requires training, warranty commitment, and production volume. In progress.
